Giving at St. Paul's

As Christians, we are called to be generous because we know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for our sake he became poor, so that we by his poverty might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). All that we have—including our very desire and ability to give—is a gift from God. “For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.” (Romans 11:36) When we give for the sake of Christ and his coming kingdom, we find ourselves midstream—so to speak—in the movement of his divine generosity.

How to Give

St. Paul's preference for returning God's gifts with our tithes is through giving at one of our worship services via check, electronic check, cash, or wire.

If you prefer giving securely online with a credit card, please consider tithing monthly.

Leave a legacy that benefits St. Paul's and her seven-fold ministries now and for future generations. Take advantage of numerous tax and financial benefits. You can support St. Paul's with gifts, either by designating St. Paul's to receive estate assets in the future or by making immediate gifts of assets. These include designating St. Paul's as a beneficiary in your will, trust, IRA, life insurance, or retirement plan, in addition to gifts of cash, stock, or other assets. Please call the church office at (407) 647-7774 for details.

But as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you—see that you excel in this act of grace also.

What is the Excel Fund?

The Excel Fund allows St. Paul's to cast vision and raise financial resources for deep and wide church growth projects that go above and beyond the ministries currently maintained through our general Foundation Fund.

Deep

The Deep designated funds enhance our local, on-campus church ministry with projects that are not covered by our general Foundation Fund budget. Our most recent Deep Project was completed in 2023 and included an extensive sanctuary renovation.

As we temporarily focused Excel Fund giving on completing the recent Sanctuary Renovation Project through 2023, currently 100% of Excel Fund giving will go toward Wide until after the next successful church plant in 2026.

Wide

Wide funding is to empower church growth projects beyond our local, on-campus church ministry. Our current Wide Project is focused on planting a second daughter church in the Orlando area.

Foundation Fund

The Foundation Fund provides for St. Paul's seven major ministries, which include worship, discipleship, community, local missions and missionaries, global missions and missionaries, youth ministries, and children's ministries. This general fund also maintains our church facility and staff compensation. Because of its foundational importance, the Session asks members and regular attendees of St. Paul's to prioritize this fund with your regular gifts and offerings.

Deacons Fund

The Deacons Fund is how St. Paul's diaconal ministry, which provides support to needy individuals and families within our congregation, outside requests for assistance, and a number of other mercy ministries we partner with are funded. On the first Sunday of every month, when we celebrate the Lord's Supper, a special offering is taken up to support this fund. Tithes can also be designated to the Deacons Fund.

Excel Fund

The Excel Fund allows St. Paul's to cast vision and raise financial resources for deep and wide church growth projects that go above and beyond the seven ministries currently maintained through our Foundation Fund. You can learn more about the Excel Fund here.
